Charles E. Larkin, 74, of Washington, died Saturday, November 16, 2002, in Kindred Hospital,Oakdale, following a lengthy illness.
He was born May 19, 1928, in Cambridge, Ohio, a son of Martin W. and Kathryn Weis Larkin.
Mr. Larkin was a 1945 graduate of Immaculate Conception High School, Washington.
He worked for Brockway Box Plant (formerly Kress Box) as a supervisor for more than 30 years prior to his retirement in 1983.
Mr. Larkin was a member of St. Hilary Catholic Church, Washington.
He enjoyed watching sports and reading.
On February 26, 1949, he married Virginia Douglas, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Michael E. Larkin of Adamstown, Md., and David C. Larkin of Hamilton Square, N.J.; and six grandchildren, Bryan, Kathryn, Gregory, Andrew, Timothy and Jeffrey Larkin.
LARKIN - Friends of Charles E. Larkin of Washington, who died Saturday, November 16, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, with the Rev. Thomas O'Neil officiating. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Washington. The family requests memorial donations to Citizens Library, Washington.
