Timothy Ray Bird, 45, of West Alexander, died unexpectedly on Monday,
June 28, 2004, at the Washington Hospital. He was born February 16,
1959, a son of the late Robert Bird, Sr., and Betty J. Pierson Bird of
Washington.
He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Assembly in Wellsburg. Mr. Bird
was a graduate of Trinity High School and played Bass guitar in his
family band.
He was a supervisor at Waste Management for 19 years.
Surviving are his fiancée, Tammy Lilley, with whom he made his home; 6
daughters, Timarra Plants of Taylorstown, Darla Paradise, Ashley Bird,
and Erica Bird, all of Washington; Kayla Harps and Karla Harps, both of
West Alexander; 3 brothers, Robert Bird of Moundsville, WV, Larry and
Freddy Bird, both of Washington; a sister, Carolyn McCarthey of
Washington, PA; 4 grandchildren, Faith Fordyce, McKenzie Plants, Morgan
Plants and Christopher Paradise, Jr; and 13 nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, Denny Bird
Friends of Timothy Ray Bird, of West Alexander, who died Monday, June
28, 2004, will be received from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2-4
and 7-9 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave,
Washington, PA, where services will be held Thursday, July 1, 2004 at
11:00 a.m., with Pastor James A. Buchanan officiating. Interment will
follow at Washington Cemetery.
