Edward Paul Randolph, 93, of Lawrenceburg, Ky., formerly of Belmont Avenue, Washington, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004, in Federal Hill Manor Nursing Home, Bardstown, N.Y.
He was born November 3, 1910, in Arden, a son of Jacob and Violet Housky Randolph.
Mr. Randolph worked as a coal miner at Montour 4 and Lindley mines.
He was a member of Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church.
Mr. Randolph was a mechanic who enjoyed working on cars.
On June 10, 1939, he married Margaret E. Weaver, who died August 7, 1988.
Surviving are a son, James Randolph of Holly Springs, N.C.; two daughters, Patricia Ford of Lawrenceburg and Marcianna Springer of Houston; a sister, Lena Shrum of Washington; and 11 grandchildren, Charles and William Springer, Margaret Fritch, Edward and Jarrod Randolph, Denise Taufalele, Teddy and Tina Garner, Christopher and Drew Ford, and Elena Stezenson.
Deceased are a son, Edward F. Randolph; four brothers, Anthony and Max Schultz and Steve and Walter Randolph; four sisters, Mary Baker, Edna Freno, Violet D'Allesandro and Annie Kurtz; and 18 great-grandchildren.
