Louis Bishop, Jr.

Louis Bishop Jr., of Meadowlands died Tuesday, December 10, in the Donell House. He was born on May 10, 1922 the son of Louis Sr. and Elizabeth Triletz Bishop. Mr. Bishop served with the Seabees in World War II. He was a member of the Bears Club, a social member of the Alpine Club, the Jessop Club and Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175 American Legion. He worked in the bar mill at Jessop Steel for many years. He is a member of Miraculous Medal Church. Surviving are two sisters, Priscilla DeMaria and Olga Ferralli of Washington, four nieces and a nephew. Mr. Bishop was proceeded in death by two brothers, William and Robert Bishop. Visitation will be held on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at our 925 Allison Avenue location. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14 at 10:00 AM in Miraculous Medal Catholic Church, Rev. John O'Shea the celebrant. Burial in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
