Harry C. Schultz, 76 of Washington, died Tuesday, January 14, 2003 in Presbyterian Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Schultz was born on September 3,1926 in Washington, PA., the son of Julia Schultz Kurtz. He was a graduate of Washington High School and attended Cranberry College in Danville, Il. He also served in the United States Army in World War II.
Mr Schultz was a member of Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175 of the American Legion as well as the Old Timers Baseball Org.
On February 23,1963 he married Joann " Jennie " Perri who died on March 5, 1989.
Surviving are a son, Donald W. Huggins,JR. of Washington; and two daughters, Pamela Peel of Washington and Norma Holmes of Fredricktown; a brother, Richard Kurtz of Washington; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Hutchison, a daughter Barbara G. " Gracie " Dannewitz, and a son Brad C. Schultz.
Visitation held at 925 Allison Ave location, services on Friday, January 17, 2003 at 1:30 PM, interment in Washington Cemetery. Full military honors graveside by Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175, American Legion. Family requests donations to Post # 175.
