Ruth Elizabeth Cole Remaley, 71, of Brady Road, Scenery Hill, died at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2002, in Washington Hospital.
She was born March 27, 1931, in Washington, a daughter of Henry S. and Mary E. Dailey Whiteman.
Mrs. Remaley was a homemaker.
She attended Friendship Community Church in Washington and formerly had been employed at Hazel-Atlas Glass Plant No. 2, Washington Laundry and White Oaks Convalescent Home in New Jersey.
Her husband, Kenneth Richard Remaley, died July 18, 2001.
Surviving are two sons, Frank and Bruce Cole, both of Charleroi; a daughter, Judy Weirich of Scenery Hill; five sisters, Martha Kolano, Ida Jenkins and Hilda McVeigh, all of Washington, and Barbara Clemens of Claysville and Stella Mae Whiteman of Washington; five grandchildren, Bruce Michael Conklin, Joshua, Heather and Leslie Cole and Shawn Renee Gregg; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Charles and Richard Whiteman.
REMALEY - Friends of Ruth Elizabeth Cole Remaley of Brady Road, Scenery Hill, who died Saturday, December 14, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 17. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
