Linda Moore-Powell

Canonsburg hospital nurse Linda Moore-Powell, 60, of Washington, died unexpectedly Saturday, November 30, 2002, in Washington Hospital emergency room. She was born November 8, 1942, in Washington, a daughter of Carl A. and Romaine Alice Featherlin Moore. A 1960 graduate of Trinity High School, she was a 1963 graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She worked more than 17 years as a registered nurse at Canonsburg General Hospital and had attended Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Washington. Surviving are a daughter, Susan Sonson of Miami Beach, Fla.; and a twin sister, Barbara Simmons of North Carolina. POWELL - Friends of Linda Moore Powell of Washington, who died Saturday, November 30, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 5. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
