Former welder at Federal Paperboard
Ethel Wenona Kelley, 79, of Washington, died at 11:45 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2002, in Kade Nursing Home, Washington, following a three-year illness.
She was born October 22, 1923, in Metz, W.Va., a daughter of Francis F. and Martha Gail Miller Gump.
Mrs. Kelley was Protestant.
She worked as a welder and machine catcher at Federal Paperboard in Washington for more than three years.
On February 5, 1939, she married George W. Kelley, who died December 5, 1992.
Surviving are two daughters, Nellie Kelley Baker of Washington and Norma Kelley Ruschell of Bethesda, Md.; three grandchildren, Kevin Crain and Eric and Jason Ruschell; and a great-granddaughter.
Deceased are a daughter, Rosie Kelley Cavoti; a sister, Nellie Hawkins; and three brothers, Fred, William and Patrick Gump.
KELLEY - Friends of Ethel Wenona Kelley of Washington, who died Saturday, December 7, 2002, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd. 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will be in North Buffalo Church Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Association, One Station Square, Landmarks Building, Suite 500, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
