Manager for J.C. Penney
John Robert Zlamal, 57, of Washington, died at 2:31 a.m. Tuesday, December 24, 2002, in Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born February 2, 1945, in Smock, a son of the late Jerry and Sophia Mintus Zlamal.
Mr. Zlamal had been employed as a manager for J.C. Penney Co.
He was a gourmet chef and an avid gardener.
Mr. Zlamal was a high school graduate and a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College.
Surviving are two brothers, Jerry Zlamal of South Carolina and James Zlamal of Claysville; and two sisters, Barbara Koltz of Danville, Ill., and Mary Robson of Scottdale.
At the request of the deceased, there will no visitation. Services and interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
