Ida Mae Malik Mccausland

Ida Mae Malik McCausland, 91 of Washington, PA, died Thursday January 23,2003 in the Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington, following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 2, 1911 in Everson, PA the daughter of Albert and Dora Belle Harrington Ansell. Mrs. McCausland was a 1931 graduate of Scottdale School. She later moved to Washington, PA and was a home maker. Mrs. McCausland was a member of the Broad Street Baptist Church in Washington and served as follows: Kingdom Mission Society, Other's Class, Youth Group Sunday School Leader, and served a Deaconess in 1971. On June 27,1936 she married Harry M. Malik, Sr who died March 7, 1964. On September 3, 1979 she married George McCausland who is also deceased. Mrs. McCausland is survived by a son, Harry M. Malik, JR of Brooksville, Fl. Also surviving are; two brothers, William Ansell of Scottdale, PA and Harold Boswell of Washington; two sisters, Janet Marie Malik of Washington and Mary Ellen Smith of Lawrenceville, GA; four grandchildren, Richard, Jeffery, and Angela Malik, and Kristi Fonner as well as seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a sister Mary Belle Jones. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24 from 7-9 PM in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Ave, Washington where services will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 1:00 PM. Private Interment will follow in Scottdale Cemetery.
