Retired steelworker for Bowman-Cyclops
Harry W. "Zeke" Moore, 75, of South Franklin Township, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2003, in Kade's Nursing Home, Washington, following a lengthy illness.
He was born September 30, 1927, in Washington County, a son of Thomas and Cora Caldwell Moore.
Mr. Moore retired as a steelworker for Bowman-Cyclops with 33 years of service.
He was a member of Calvary Temple in Washington.
Mr. Moore enjoyed gardening, playing horseshoes and Cinch.
On July 16, 1946, he married Juanita Roupe, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Harry and Ralph Moore, both of Prosperity, and Thomas and Dempsey Moore, both of Washington; two daughters, Marilyn Plants and Juanita Rozzo, both of Washington; two brothers, Dempsey Moore of Ohio and Edward Moore of Marianna; seven sisters, Anna Mull of Canonsburg, Dorothy Scott of Tennessee, Rose Farren of Ohio, Helen Main of Bentleyville, Mabel Cross of Scenery Hill and Mary Medlen and Grace Kiskadden, both of Washington; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Edgar and Thomas Moore; and a sister, Nancy Burgess.
MOORE - Friends of Harry W. "Zeke" Moore of South Franklin Township, who died Monday, January 27, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 30, with Pastor David Harner and Pastor Michael Sitko co-officiating. Interment will follow in North Buffalo Church Cemetery.
