Emily L. Proger, 81, of Washington, died Friday, January 17, 2003, in McMurray Hills Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 21, 1921, in Finleyville, a daughter of Albert and Emily Lenik.
Mrs. Proger was an employee of RCA for 30 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Washington.
On October 10, 1941, she married Thomas M. Proger, who died November 15, 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Nancy Pattison of Claysville and Kitty Sten of Washington; five grandchildren, Timothy, Thomas and Anthony Pattison and Tami and Julie Sten; and eight great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Joseph, Albert and Andrew Lenik; and a sister, Helen Lenik.
PROGER - Friends of Emily L. Proger of Washington, who died Friday, January 17, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, January 20, in Immaculate Conception Church. Entombment will follow in St. James Mausoleum, Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Washington.
