Helen M. Invernizzi

Enjoyed traveling, reading Helen M. Invernizzi, 83, of Washington, died Wednesday, January 29, 2003. She was born September 30, 1919, in Midland, Beaver County, a daughter of George and Ann Zuzul. Mrs. Invernizzi was a homemaker and co-owner of the former Art's Hotel in Houston. She centered her life around her family and Christian beliefs, and enjoyed traveling and reading. Mrs. Invernizzi was Catholic and a former member of the Christian Mothers of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Canonsburg. In 1944, she married, Arthur J. Invernizzi, who died September 3, 2002. Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Smith of Venetia; a son, Dr. John Invernizzi of Washington; four grandchildren, Rachael Comfort and Chelsey, Jeremy and Ryan Smith; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sylvia Macock. Deceased are a son, Robert L. Invernizzi; two brothers, Charlie and Joseph; and three sisters, Mildred, Ann and Matilda. Services were private. Interment was private in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township. Donations may be made for memorial books at Citizens Library, 55 South College Street, Washington, PA 15301.
