Clayton Edgar Gregg, III, 56, of Washington, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007, in Donnell House. He had been in declining health the past few months.
He was born September 13, 1951, in Washington, a beloved son of Audrey Chipps Gregg of Washington and the late Clayton E. Gregg, Jr.
Mr. Gregg attended Wolfdale School and graduated from Trinity High School.
He was last employed as a school bus driver in the Uniontown area, and had previously worked at Washington and Jefferson College in the maintenance department and at Brockway Glass.
Surviving are a son, Clayton E. (Jackie) Gregg, IV, of Connellsville; a daughter, Stacey L. Gregg of Hamilton, Ohio; his twin brother, Curtis R. Gregg of Washington; and a sister, Scherry L. Gregg of Washington; and four grandchildren, Clayton E. Gregg V, Tiffany Gregg, Dylan McCoy and Jared Clemons; a nephew, Curtis R. Gregg of North Carolina; and four beautiful cousins, Melody DePretis, Bobbie Jean Gregg, Jody VanVandenberg and Surrie Bowman.
Deceased are paternal grandparents, Clayton E. Gregg, Sr. and Jean Roach Gregg Snyder; maternal grandparents, Clarence F. Chipps and Nannie Kelley Chipps; uncles Robert H. Gregg; and Clarence F. Chipps, Jr. a nephew, Robert T. Gregg;
He will be missed by many old and great friends and his dog, Tinker. He took a piece of his mother’s heart with him.
There will be no visitation or services. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Alison Avenue, Washington, is in charge of arrangements.
