Reynolds James “Wizard” Adams, 64, of Washington, formerly Los Angeles, California, died Thursday, December 13, 2007, in The Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born October 21, 1943, in South Strabane Township, a son of Raymond J. and Margaret Blake Adams.
Mr. Adams was employed by PK Cleaning and previously employed by Immaculate Conception Cemetery for several years.
He played guitar, enjoyed gospel music, and loved animals and the outdoors.
Mr. Adams was proud of his Cherokee Indian heritage and was known to many as “Doubleeagle”.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
On May 20, 1984, he married Mary Lou Coole, who survives.
Also surviving are 11 children, including Chris Adams, at home; one brother, Wendell “Wink” Adams of Leesville, Louisville; and eleven grandchildren.
Deceased are several brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2007, with Pastor Michael Roach officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
