Joanne Idella Anderson

Joanne Idella Anderson, 68, of Washington, died Wednesday, June 30, 2004, in Kindred Hospital, Beaver County, following a lengthy illness. She was born on May 2, 1936, in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of Lawrence E. and Virginia D. Wolfe Lytton. Mrs. Anderson was a home maker, enjoyed her grandchildren, baking, bowling and shopping. She was a member of the Carpenters Home Church. On May 25, 1953, she married Harry Bernard Anderson who survives. Also surviving are a son, Harry B. Anderson, Jr., of Amity; three daughters, Susan J. McLaughlin, Barbara Jean Fischer, and Joyce Ann Cochran, all of Washington; a brother Mark Lytton of California; a sister Alice Kelley of Hickory; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are a brother Lawrence E. Lytton; three sisters, Ada Mae Earls, Geraldine Higgs, and Marion L. Miller. Friends of Joanne I. Anderson will be received from 7 to 9 pm on Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at 11:00 am, Pastor Bobby Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
