Mildred Sikora

Mildred Sikora, 77, of Washington, died Sunday, November 25, 2007, in her home. She was born February 27, 1930, in Indianola, a daughter of Emmett and Florence Bowlands Crupe. Mrs. Sikora was a homemaker and excellent baker. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Mrs. Sikora was a member of Holy Trinity National Catholic Church. Her husband of 61 years, Theodore “Ted” Sikora, survives. Also surviving are a son, Thomas T. (Marilyn) Sikora of Washington; two daughters, Darlene (Fred) Pajak of Eighty-Four and Crystal (Neal) Shiller of Dallas, Texas; a brother, James Combs of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Vivian Wilson of Hoschton, Georgia, and Shirley Scheurmann of Cleveland, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Paul (Michelle) Sikora, Amy Sikora, Maggie (Ben) Frey, Jacob Sikora, Kylie (Kevin) Murray, Chelsea Pajak, Alia Pajak, Julia Pajak, Jim Sarasnick and Michael Sarasnick; and two great-grandchildren, Nicole Eisel and Liam Frey. Deceased are siblings, Delmare Crupe, Melvin Combs, Helen Burkievicz and Dorothy Harshberger. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2007, in Holy Trinity National Catholic Church, with Bishop John Mack as celebrant.
