Mildred Sikora, 77, of Washington, died Sunday, November 25, 2007, in her home.
She was born February 27, 1930, in Indianola, a daughter of Emmett and Florence Bowlands Crupe.
Mrs. Sikora was a homemaker and excellent baker. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Mrs. Sikora was a member of Holy Trinity National Catholic Church.
Her husband of 61 years, Theodore “Ted” Sikora, survives.
Also surviving are a son, Thomas T. (Marilyn) Sikora of Washington; two daughters, Darlene (Fred) Pajak of Eighty-Four and Crystal (Neal) Shiller of Dallas, Texas; a brother, James Combs of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Vivian Wilson of Hoschton, Georgia, and Shirley Scheurmann of Cleveland, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Paul (Michelle) Sikora, Amy Sikora, Maggie (Ben) Frey, Jacob Sikora, Kylie (Kevin) Murray, Chelsea Pajak, Alia Pajak, Julia Pajak, Jim Sarasnick and Michael Sarasnick; and two great-grandchildren, Nicole Eisel and Liam Frey.
Deceased are siblings, Delmare Crupe, Melvin Combs, Helen Burkievicz and Dorothy Harshberger.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2007, in Holy Trinity National Catholic Church, with Bishop John Mack as celebrant. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity National Catholic Church, 605 North Hewitt Avenue, Washington PA 15301.
