Lilly Pearl Brown Ostrander, 60, of Millville, West Virginia, died Monday, November 15, 2004, in the Washington Hospital. She was born in Avella on June 20, 1944, a daughter of the late Joseph and Cleo Pearl Randolph Brown, Sr. She had attended Waynesburg High School. She enjoyed crochet, yard work, and solving crossword puzzles.
In 1966 she married Harry Edward Ostrander who died on August 14, 1997.
Surviving are two sons, Harry E. Ostrander III of Bloomsburg and Robert Howard Ostrander of Cameron, West Virginia; two daughters, Rhonda Sue Watts of Shomokin and Billie Jo Work of Marianna; five brothers, Michael Brown of Washington, Norman Brown of Waynesburg, Roy Brown of Sarasota, Florida, Walter Brown of Canonsburg, and William Brown of Washington; three sisters, Flora Chase of Amity, Trudi King of Washington, and Ellen Littell of Claysville, with whom she most recently made her home; six grandchildren, Richard Ostrander, Stanley Work, Timothy Work, Robert Work, Stevie Cosky, and Robert Ostrander; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are twin sons, Patrick Lee and Jack Daniel Ostrander; two brothers, Pat O’Donnell and Joseph Brown; and one sister Betty Jo Wieland.
Friends of Lilly Pearl Brown Ostrander, 60, of Millville, West Virginia, who died on Monday, November 15, 2004, will be received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Wednesday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2004, at 11:00 am with Robert Marshman officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
