Jane Lucille Eckert Richmond

Jane Lucille Eckert Richmond, 83, of Washington, died at 10:15 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2004, in her home. She was born June 27, 1921, in West Finley, a daughter of John R. and Ethel Scherich Wood. She was a 1939 graduate of Claysville High School. She was a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church, in Washington, where she was an Elder, a member of the Ladies Aid and the choir. Mrs. Richmond was employed at Washington Hospital, where she worked in the Food Service Department for four years, then worked in Medical Records until her retirement. On November 17, 1984, she married Clyde L. Richmond, who died October 21, 2001. Surviving are four daughters, Susan, wife of Craig Kosarko, of Maple Heights, Ohio, Kathy Northburg, of Brainard, Minnesota, Beth Eckert, of Crafton, Becky, wife of Robert F. Wise, of Washington; a step daughter, Sharon Sue, wife of Charles Crouser, of West Alexander; two sisters, LeDora Heinlein, of McDonald and Esther, wife of Clark Marshall, of Cranberry Township; eleven grandchildren, and13 great grandchildren. Deceased is a sister, Theo Zalaznik. Friends of Jane Lucille Eckert Richmond, of Washington, who died Monday, November 1, 2004, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held 11:30 a.m., to 1:00 p.m., the hour of service, Thursday, November 4, 2004, in Fourth Presbyterian Church, 1000 Jefferson Avenue, Washington, PA. 15301, with the Rev. Dr. Susan Vande Kappelle officiating. Burial to follow inWashington Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Building Fund of Fourth Presbyterian Church.
