William E. Morris, 65, of Washington, died at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2004, in Washington Hospital. He had been ill since 1984.
He was born October 1, 1939, in Graysville, a son of Susan Alberta Anderson Morris of Washington and the late Charles William Morris.
Mr. Morris was a member of Christian Church of North America and a former Boy Scout leader.
He was self-employed in sales and service of lawnmowers. He also worked on farms, Peter Pan Dry Cleaners, Federal Paperboard, Penn Manufacturing for six years and Timberline Packaging.
Mr. Morris enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On April 6, 1959, he married Joie E. Grantz, who survives.
Also surviving are a brother, Donald Wesley Morris of Washington; and a sister, Susan Carol Lewis of Washington.
Deceased are a brother, Walter Franklin Morris; and two sisters, Janet Varner and Mary Lou Matthews.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 20, with the Rev. Rob Berk officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery, McMurray.
