Helen Marie Pattison, 76, of Washington, died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2007, in Donnell House following a brief illness.
She was born August 10, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of Albert and Jessie Miller Keefe.
Mrs. Pattison was a homemaker who had previously worked at G.C. Murphy’s on Main Street and was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church.
Mrs. Pattison was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for her children and grandchildren.
On November 4, 1948, she married David R. Pattison, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, James “Jamieâ€쳌 (Nancy) Pattison of Simpsonville, South Carolina; a daughter, Diane (James) Cope of Washington; one brother, Albert Glenn “Budâ€쳌 Keefe of Chattanooga, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Dr. Sandy (Christopher) Cope-Yokoyama, Emily C. (Daniel) Robinson, Andrew J. Cope, Caitlin E. Pattison and David L. Pattison; and a great-grandchild, Cora Elizabeth Yokoyama.
Deceased are a son, David Russell Pattison, Jr.; and a brother, David Howard Keefe.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 and 7 to 9p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Additional visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m., the hour of service, Monday, March 12, 2007, in Fairhill Manor Christian Church, Montgomery Avenue, Washington, with Rev. Dr. David Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
