Construction worker enjoyed fishing and hunting
Michael Douglas Anderson Sr., 44, of Washington, died unexpectedly at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2007, in his home.
He was born August 30, 1962, in Washington, a son of Roger D. and Marlene Keener Anderson of Claysville.
After graduating from McGuffey High School, he worked as a construction worker for Raggi Construction and J&D Waterproofing.
Mr. Anderson was a member of Hopedale (Ohio) Legion and enjoyed fishing, hunting and his grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a son, Michael D. (Sheila) Anderson Jr.; two daughters, Haley and Jolene Anderson, both of Washington; a brother, Melvin Anderson of Washington; a sister, Pamela D. Calden of Arbordale, Fla.; three grandchildren, Michael III, Alexis and Savannah Anderson; nephews Matthew Nethaway and Jacob Josh Anderson of Washington; nieces Melia Marlene Anderson of Ohio, Melony Lynn Anderson of Washington and Jessica of Florida.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 21, with Pastor Dan Lutes officiating. Services will follow in Washington Cemetery.
