Stanley Paul Moore, 64, of Washington, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004, in his home following a one year illness. He was born in Pine Bank, Greene County, on February 2, 1940, a son of Myrtle Moore of Graysville and the late John Moore. Mr. Moore was a graduate of the York Vocational Institute and had worked as a Plumber-Pipe Fitter & Welder for Local # 27 for more than 35 years until his retirement. He was a member of the NRA, Sunset Lodge # 623, and the Shrine in Pittsburgh. He enjoyed Hunting and Woodworking but most of all his family.
On November 8, 1968, he married Rebecca A. Coulter who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Jeffrey Chappel, William and Brian Moore, all of Washington; two daughters, Shawna Patterson of Washington and Linda Burnquist of Muse; a brother Harold Moore of Graysville; a sister Louise Tenney of Washington; seven grandchildren, Caitlyn Myers, Jordan Chappel, Justine Burnquist, Lucas, Haley Jo, Tyler and Emily Moore.
Friends of Stanley Paul Moore, 64, of Washington, will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2004, at 1:00 pm with Rev. Harry R. Speakman officiating. Burial will follow in Upper Buffalo Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made to; The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation ,1609 Garden Street, Santa Barbara, California 93101.
