Gabby Inn bartender was in insurance business
Herbert Francis Wright, 75, of Washington, died at 7:54 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2004, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He was born January 15, 1929, in Washington, a son of Marion Francis and Alta Ford Engle Wright.
Mr. Wright graduate from Washington High School and attended insurance school at Washington & Jefferson College.
He was Protestant.
Mr. Wright served in the Merchant Marine and was a member of LOOM 22.
He was in the insurance business with Equitable Life Insurance Co. and was a bartender at Gabby Inn.
On December 11, 1975, he married Patricia L. Wade, who survives.
Also surviving are seven sons, Joseph F. Wright of Claysville, Michael S. Wright, Kerry and Kelly Zlatarich and Lloyd Allen, all of Washington, Kent Zlatarich of Claysville and Gary Allen of Waynesburg; four daughters, Patricia Brownlee and Kimberly Martinez, both of Washington, and Debra Adamson and Judy Wright, both of Waynesburg; 23 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Joseph, Robert and Albert Hathaway and Kenny Wright.
WRIGHT - Friends of Herbert Francis Wright of Washington, who died Thursday, May 6, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1:30 a.m. Monday, May 10, 2004. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
