Chester Uniejewski

Chester " Chao " Uniejewski,80, of Washington died Monday in the Washington Hospital. He was born December 4,1921 in Washington, the son of John and Mary Ann Babacz Uniejewski. Mr. Uniejewski was retired having worked at Universal Cyclops. He was a member of Holy Trinity National Catholic Church, Polish Club, Pulaski Club, Edwin Scott Linton Post # 175 American Legion,he was an avid Dart Ball player, had played Soft Ball and also been a former team manager. He had served with the Civilian Conservation Corps. and also the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during WW II. On February 12,1950 he married Genevieve Ann Borkowski who survives. Also surviving are three sons; Edward S., Raymond J., and Stanley J. Uniejewski, all of Washington ; two daughters, Charlotte Day of Washington and Patricia Wolfe of Stow, Ohio; two sisters, Helen Belcyzk of Belle Vernon and Stella Pawlowski of Port View,PA ; Grandchildren ( 11 ), Denise Kostyak, Edward Uniejewski, Brandy and Brian Uniejewski, Scott and Todd Day, Megan and Brendon Wolfe, Lauren, Anthony, and Kaitlin Uniejewski as well as two Great-Grandchildren. Viewing will be at our Allison Avenue location on Wed. 7-9 PM, Thurs. 2-9 PM. Mass will be held at 10 AM Friday, January 18 at Holy Trinity National Catholic Church.
