William Joseph Grasser

February 3, 1920 — December 27, 2001

William J. Grasser, 81 of Washington died Thursday, December 27, 2001 in Kendrid Hospital, Oakdale following a four month illness. He was born in Pittsburgh on Feb. 3, 1920 a son of Fred J. and Genevieve Grasser. Mr. Grasser was retired having been a finish carpenter, last working at Mellon-Stewart Contacting. He was a member of Bethal Masonic Lodge # 761, the N.R.A. , Good Sam Club, and enjoyed camping,hunting, fishing, and playing his guitar. He served the US Army in WWII. On June 23, 1973 he married Charlotte Brown who survives. Aslo, surviving are two sons; William J. Grasser Jr., and Raymon W. Dugan, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by two brothers; Fred and Sonny Grasser. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 29 in our Allison Avenue facilty from 2-4, 6-8 PM, the time of service. Pastor Gary Gibson officiating, later burial in Forest Lawn Gardens.
