Robert R. Mcclain

Robert R. McClain 62, of Washington died unexpectedly on Thursday in the Canonsburg Hospital. He was born August 14, 1939 in Westmorland County the son of Sheldon and Lulu Kramer McClain. He worked as a mechanic for the city of Washington for the past 23 years having retired this past December.He was a member of Teamsters Local # 585. Mr. McClain had served in the US Marines for four years. On September 21,1968 he married Betty Yater who survives. Also surviving are a son, Shawn McClain: three daughters, Carol McClain, Bobbie McClain, and Bobbie Fisher; two brothers, Ira and Don McClain; sister Mary Blazic and grandchildren Melissa Patrick and Shelby Sadler. He was preceeded in death by a brother Thomas and a sister Helen Leasure. Visitation will be held at our Allison Avenue location on Saturday 7-9, Sunday 2-4,7-9 PM.,Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM, burial in Washington Cemetery.
