James Edward Tush, Sr., 84, of Eighty-Four, died April 3, 2008, in his
home.
He was born March 12, 1924, in Buffalo Township, Washington County, a
son of Harry Carry and Winona May Mounts Tush.
Mr. Tush entered the U.S. Navy April 6, 1943 and was honorably
discharged December 1945.
Mr. Tush was a locomotive engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad for
thirty-two years.
He was a member of West Washington United Methodist Church and North
Buffalo Grange.
On July 23, 1967, he married Wilma Eldora Ealy, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, James E. Tush, of Eighty-Four, Thomas E.
Lyle, of Midland, and Timothy E. Lyle, of McDonald; a daughter,
Patricia
A. Tush Kelley, of Eighty-Four; and twelve grandchildren, Thomas F.,
Tracie, Donna, Jim, Jamie, Missey, Thomas L., Jerry, Andrea, Shaun,
Timothy, and Bailey; and fifteen great grandchildren.
Deceased is his first wife, Florence A. Lyle, who died August 3, 1966.
Friends will be received on Saturday, from 6 to 9 PM and Sunday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 PM, in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2008,at 10:30 AM, with Rev. John Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded by James R. Hunt, Post 639, Claysville
American Legion.
