Janice A. Mcclay

Janice A. McClay, 60, of West Alexander, died Monday, April 7, 2008, in Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was born December 11, 1947, in Washington, a daughter of Robert and Marie Heiney Bradley. Mrs. McClay graduated from Washington High School in 1965 and was a graduate of Washington Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse at Washington Hospital for a year and a half. Mrs. McClay was a member of Upper Ten Mile United Presbyterian Church. She was a good cook and enjoyed baking, knitting and crocheting. On June 5, 1973, she married David William McClay, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Eben W. (Daesha) McClay, of Claysville, and E. Jaison (Mina) McClay, of Japan; a brother, Robert (Lauren) Bradley, of Houston; two sisters, Jamie (John) Kozdra, of Claysville, and Becky (Stephen) Bradley-Knox, of Richeyville; and two grandchildren, Sean and Molly. Friends will be received 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., the hour of a memorial service, Saturday, April 12, 2008, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
