Margaret M. Murray

Washington homemaker Margaret M. Murray, 87, of Washington, died Thursday, November 20, 2003, in Presbyterian Medical Center, Washington. She was born January 11, 1916, in Washington, a daughter of Robert and Louise Paluda. Mrs. Murray was a member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church in Washington. She was a homemaker. On May 21, 1935, she married David W. Murray, who died April 15, 1997. Surviving are two sons, William G. Murray of Danville, Va., and Robert J. Murray of Pittsburgh; a brother, Steve Paluda of Washington; four sisters, JoAnn Paluda, Elizabeth Syrek and Elaine Belcastro, all of Washington, and Louise Dobos of Irwin; five grandchildren, Colin W., Benjamin L., Melissa Layne, Amy Bell and Shaun Murray; and a great-grandchild. MURRAY - Friends of Margaret M. Murray of Washington, who died Thursday, November 20, 2003, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, November 24, in St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church, Washington, with the Rev. Thomas D. O'Neil as celebrant. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens Cemetery, McMurray.
