Donald R. Ullom, 59, of Washington, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 28, 2003.
He was born June 5, 1943, in Amwell Township, a son of Lois Bainer Ullom of Washington and the late Raymond Ullom.
Mr. Ullom was a 1961 graduate of Washington High School.
He had worked as an associate chemist at Ferro in Washington for 35 years.
Mr. Ullom was Protestant.
He was a member of Hawkins Post Home Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 927.
Mr. Ullom was an active volunteer with Washington High School band and steel drum band.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was stationed on the USS Hummingbird.
On March 30, 1965, he married Phyllis Webster, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Denise Ullom and Janet Devenney, both of Washington; and a brother, Edward C. Ullom of Washington.
ULLOM - Friends of Donald R. Ullom of Washington, who died Wednesday, May 28, 2003, will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and noon to 2 p.m., the hour of service, Saturday, May 31, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 395 East Maiden Street, Washington, with Pastor Larry Deemer and Pastor Gary Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
