Mary Anne Staso, 83, of Washington, died Tuesday, November 18, 2003 in the Presbyterian Medical Center following a three year illness. She was born in Fredericktown on July 10, 1920, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Moravitz Sheba. Mrs. Staso was a home maker and had attended Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
In 1941 she married George Anthony Staso, who died in June of 1961.
Surviving are a son Anthony G. Staso of Washington; a daughter Dianna Lynn Wilkens of DeSoto, Texas; two brothers, Joseph Sheba of St. Clairsville, Ohio and George Sheba of Pohatton, Ohio; a sister Ann Shuster of St. Clairsville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Scott A. and Gregory A. Staso as well as two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are a brother John Sheba and a sister Margaret Myers.
At the request of the deceased, no public visitation will be held and services are private, to be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of William G.
