Michael Lee Gizoni, 52, of Washington, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, January 29, 2006, in Kade Nursing Home, Washington, following a six-month illness.
He was born May 17, 1953, in Washington, a son of the late Italo Anthony and Helen Daugherty Gizoni.
Mr. Gizoni was Catholic.
He graduated from Washington High School in 1972, where he wrestled and later continued to follow local wrestling.
Mr. Gizoni was employed at Brockway Glass as a packer for 15 years.
Surviving are two sons, Heath (Jennifer) Gizoni of Washington and Daniel Gizoni of Claysville; two sisters, Anna M. (Wayne) McCartney of Washington and Regina R. Johnson of Cokeburg; a niece, Jodi Landock; a nephew, Joseph (Melissa) Landock; a grandson, Nicholas Gizoni; a stepgrandson, Jacob; and several aunts and uncles.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 until 8 p.m., the hour of service, Wednesday, February 1, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. Ron Schermerhorn officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd.
