Virginia E. Szydlowski

Virginia E. Szydlowski, 74, of Washington, died at 12:50 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2005, in Washington Hospital. She had been ill since September 2004. She was born April 29, 1931, in Langeloth, a daughter of Edgar and Estella Roulinittis Lauderback. Mrs. Szydlowski was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Burgettstown and Immaculate Conception Church in Washington, Catholic Daughters and Christian Mothers. On November 30, 1950, she married Ralph Edward Szydlowski, who survives. Also surviving are a son, David, and a daughter, Patricia Ann, both of Prosperity; and a half sister, Barbara Crissi. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where a blessing service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 6, with the Rev. Nicholas Spirko officiating. Burial will follow in Prosperity Cemetery.
