Mark J. Trussell, 47, of Washington, died at 5:00 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2007, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Presbyterian Pavilion, following a two-week illness.
He was born December 29, 1959, in Washington a son of Linda Vester Trussell Holub of Washington and the late James Robert Trussell.
Mr. Trussell was a graduate of McGuffey High School. He worked as a bar tender at the Independent Club for 25 years.
Mr. Trussell was Christian, a member of L.O.O.M. #22, and enjoyed music, sports and old cars.
On July 24, 1995, he married Betty Jean Roup, who died December 20, 2001.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, Christopher A. Roup of Washington; one brother, John R. (Georgia) Trussell of Grindstone; one step-brother, Joseph Holub of Eighty-Four; three step-sisters, Brenda Holub, Joy Holub, and Dawn Holub, all of Washington; two aunts, Cora Stollar of Keeling, Virginia and Sherrie Daniels of Washington.
Deceased are a step-sister, Wanda Cape; and his step-father, Joseph W. Holub, Sr.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2007. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
