Immaculate Conception Church member and education director.
Betty Jane McCullough, 61, of Washington, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 2, 2005, in Washington Hospital.
She was born February 17, 1944, in Providence, R.I., a daughter of Homer A. and Anna Drake Miller.
Mrs. McCullough graduated from Mercer High School in 1962 and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Washington.
Mrs. McCullough worked in religious education at Immaculate Conception Church for more than 28 years, having last held the position of director of religious education.
On September 14, 1962, she married John Raymond McCullough, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, John William (Kathy) McCullough of Poulsbo, Wash.; a daughter, Christine L. (Chuck) Maloy of Washington; a sister, Barbara Slaghenhoupt of Mercer; and two grandchildren, John Wesley and Jordan Christine.
Deceased is a sister, Judith Pryboroski.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Home Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, November 7, in Immaculate Conception Church, with Father John Bauer as celebrant. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
