Anna Marie Berteotti, 74, of Washington, died at 1 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2005, in Washington Hospital, following a two-and-a-half-year illness.
She was born December 25, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of Antonio and Catherine LaBella Piccioni.
Mrs. Berteotti graduated from Washington High School in 1947 and worked as an administrative secretary for Washington Hospital and Liberty Finance.
She enjoyed needlepoint, cooking and especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
In June 1951, she married Leo J. Berteotti, who died July 3, 1997.
Surviving are a son, Donald Berteotti of Washington; three daughters, Carolyn Harsh of Richmond, Va., Stephanie Hack of Geneva, Ill., and Toni Lee Berteotti of Washington; a sister, Joanne Sworden of Washington; eight grandchildren, Gregory, Christina and Daniel Harsh, Melissa, Brian and Mackenzie Hack and Jennifer and Julie Berteotti; and a great-grandchild, Kylie Poland.
Deceased are two brothers, Charles and Alfonso Piccioni.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and noon until 2 p.m., the hour of a blessing service, Wednesday, May 25, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
