Wanda M. Mills

Wanda M. Mills, 81 of Washington, PA, formerly of Union Port, died Saturday April 12, 2003 in Washington County Health Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Union Port on December 19,1921 the daughter of Harry and Martha Maffit Jamison. Mrs. Mills was a graduate of Hopedale High School and worked at the North Franklin Elementary School in the Cafeteria until retirement in 1982. She later worked with the Washington Hospital Auxiliary. In October, 1943 she married Walter F. Mills who died on August 21, 1996. Surviving are a son, Walter D. Mills of Washington, a brother Calvin Jamison of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, as well as five sisters; Kay Oley, of Lorain , Ohio, Carolyn Leonard of Bloomingdale, Ohio, Alice Galbreth, of Scio, Ohio, Naoma Booth and Audrey Arner, both of Masilin, Ohio. She is preceded in death by a brother Ray Jamison and three sisters, Evelyn Darlene Jamison who died as an infant, Gwendolyn Townsend , and Dolly Overly. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 in the Everhart Funeral Home, Richmond, Ohio, where services will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at 11:00 AM, Interment will follow in Union Port Cemetery.
