Alene Luzadder

Retired from Dunn Dry Goods Store Alene Luzadder, 86, of Washington, died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, in her home. She was born August 20, 1916, in Waynesburg, a daughter of Stanford and Ida Rose Mooney. Mrs. Luzadder was a graduate of Waynesburg High School and retired as a secretary from Dunn Dry Goods Store. She was a member of Fairhill Manor Christian Church, a member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1940 and a member of AARP. On April 12, 1944, she married Ernest Ross Luzadder, who died September 16, 2001. Surviving are six brothers, James Mooney of Sycamore, Kenneth Mooney of Pittsburgh, Robert Mooney of Waynesburg, John Mooney of Waynesburg, William Mooney of Vermilion, Ohio, and Charles Mooney of Taylor, Mich.; two sisters, Helen Husk and Mary Ann Filer, both of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a twin brother and sister who died shortly after birth. LUZADDER - Friends of Alene Luzadder of Washington, who died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 14, with the Rev. David Mansfield officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
