Eugene C. Kaposy

Employed by Goodrich Tire Eugene (Chuck) Kaposy Sr., 53, of Washington, died at 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2003, in Washington Hospital, following a brief illness. He was born November 29, 1949, in Washington, a son of Agnes Georgetti Kaposy of Washington and the late Anthony Kaposy. Mr. Kaposy was Catholic and a graduate of Avella High School. He was employed in tire service for Goodrich Tire Co. Amy Sikora was his caregiver. Surviving are two sons, Eugene C. Kaposy Jr. of Nashville, Tenn., and Jason Paul Kaposy of Petersburg, W.Va.; two daughters, Rebecca Ruth Higgins and Joni Marie Kaposy, both of Elkins, W.Va.; a brother, Richard Kaposy of Washington; two sisters, Rose Kaposy of Washington and Alberta Marshall of Burgettstown; and seven grandchildren, Vanessa, Alicia, Christian, Bailey, Danyelle and Abbigale Kaposy, and Ryan Miller. Deceased are a daughter, Toni Lynn Kaposy; and a sister, Frances M. McNary. KAPOSY - Friends of Eugene (Chuck) Kaposy Sr. of Washington, who died Tuesday, April 29, 2003, will be received from 2 until 7 p.m., the hour of service, Friday, May 2, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with the Rev. John Mack officiating. Interment will be in Independence Cemetery.
