Former railroad worker for B&O Railroad
Fred B. Kopp, 85, of Washington, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, in Kade Nursing Home, Washington.
He was born September 20, 1917, in Washington, a son of Charles and Ruth Duvall Kopp.
Mr. Kopp was a graduate of Washington High School.
He worked for 44 years as railroad worker for Baltimore and Ohio Railroad.
Mr. Kopp was a well-known local musician, who played saxophone and keyboards.
He was a member of Moose, Elks, American Federation of Musicians and Free and Accepted Masons, Fort Myers, Fla.
Surviving are a son, Fred C. Kopp of Washington; and a daughter, Carol Ann Johnson of St. Petersburg, Fla.
KOPP - Friends of Fred B. Kopp of Washington, who died Sunday, April 27, 2003, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of services, Tuesday, April 29, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Gary Gibson officiating.
