Arthur William Corbly, 67 of Claysville, died on Saturday, April 26, 2003 in the Washington Hospital following a lingering illness. He was born in Rogersville on September 24, 1935 a son of Byron and Florence Wilson Corbly.
Mr. Corbly had attended Trinity Schools. He later served in the National Guard. He last worked as a Machine Operator at V-Bat Plastics. Mr. Corbly enjoyed camping and his grandchildren.
On July 15, 1955 he married Mildred Lucille Crowe who survives. Also surviving are three sons, John William Corbly of Claysville, Gregory L. Corbly of Huntington, New York, Steven E. Corbly of Carnegie; six grandchildren, John, Eric, Timothy, Tia, Gregory, and Honor Corbly, as well as two great-grandchildren.
Friends will be recieved on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington where services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at 1:00 PM with The Rev. Fred McCloskey officiating. Interment will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
