Robert G. Hackett

Robert G. Hackett, Sr., 59 of Washington, died Thursday, April 24, 2003 in the Donnell House following a two year illness. Mr. Hackett was born on April 6, 1944 in Buffalo New York, the son of Gordon L. and Virginia Dickey Hackett. After being raised in both McKean and Potter Counties, he moved to Washington. He worked at Brockway Glass # 7 until it closed and later worked at Performance Products for ten years. Mr. Hackett was a Poet, and enjoyed reading, music, and history. On August 21, 1982, he married Cheryl Lynn Naser who survives. Also surviving are a son, Robert G. Hackett, Jr. , a daughter, Faith Hackett of West Alexander, a sister Doris Ladlee of Smethport, and two grandchildren, Ed Snider and Madison McClenathan. At the request of the deceased no public visitation will be held.
