Mary Jane Mancina, 80, of Washington, died Friday, January 18, 2008, in The Washington Hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was born November 11, 1927, in Washington, a daughter of Wilbert Johnson and Gladys Hazel Allen Carpenter. Mrs. Mancina was a homemaker and member of Friendship Community Church. In 1966, she married Frank Mancina, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, John (Shirley) Cossu of Washington, and Frank Mancina, Jr., of Claysville; two daughters, Patricia Georgetti and Mary Frances Burk, both of Washington; six grandchildren, Rhonda Georgetti, Adele Georgetti, Kathy Baronyak, Joni Early, John Cossu, and Mary Ann MacFarland; and nine great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother, James Carpenter; and a sister, Donna Mancina. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2008, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
