Mae Murray

Mae Murray, 92, of Washington, died Sunday, March 16, 2008, in Humbert Lane Personal Care Center. She was born January 21, 1916, in Filer, Lake Township, Mercer County, a daughter of Ernest and Minnie Cartlidge Triner. Mrs. Murray worked at Mayview State Hospital for 17 years. She was a member of Christian Church of North America, Washington, and Clean Life League in Toledo, Ohio. On June 28, 1940, she married John Ellsworth Murray, who died May 19, 1981. Surviving are a son, David Paul Murray of Washington; two sisters, Hazel O’Donnell of Waynesburg and Esther Johnson of Yulee, Florida; two grandchildren, Christine Danielle English and Pamela Frances Murray; and a great-grandson, Shane English. Deceased are a brother, Ernest Triner; and four sisters, Eileen Triner, Irene Triner, Elsie Simpson, and Dorothy Gilbert. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, is in charge of arrangements. .
