James O. Wheeler of 331 Sunset Boulevard, Washington, Pennsylvania, died on April 8, 2004. He was born on June 28, 1923 in Washington, son of the late Calvin Earl Wheeler and Francis Lela Wheeler. He lived in Washington all of his life. He was married to Nellie M. Spicer on July 11, 1942, who passed away on March 1, 2001. Mr. Wheeler was employed by Universal Cyclops for 37 years. He served in both the Army and Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II with the 1st Allied Airborne Army.
Mr. Wheeler was a Protestant and a lifetime and founding member of the South Strabane Fire Department # 2. Surviving are one son, James E. Wheeler and two daughters, Patricia Ann Wright of Oxnard, California and Carol J. Sefton of Springfield, Virginia. One daughter, Christine May, died in infancy.
Mr. Wheeler leaves 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by three brothers, Thomas Wheeler of Washington, Lawrence Wheeler of Gary Indiana and Harold Wheeler of Tennessee, as well as one sister, Mrs. ElVada Harvey of Washington. His three other brothers, Donald, William and Robert, and two sisters, IlaDale DiVincenzo and Deloris Brautigan all predeceased him
