Virginia M. Baldwin, 90, of Spring, Texas, formerly Washington, died Friday November 30, 2007, in Regent Care Center, Woodlands, Texas, following a lingering illness.
She was born November 24, 1917, in Washington, a daughter of Vivian and Eva Clutter McVehil.
Mrs. Baldwin had worked at the Washington Laundry and as a practical nurse at the Washington County Home.
She was a member of LOOM #22 and BPOE #776 Auxiliary.
Mrs. Baldwin was Methodist.
On May 6, 1955, she married Robert James Baldwin, who died May 6, 1987.
Surviving are a son, Stephen (Sheila) Burgard of Spring, Texas; one grandchild, Sherri Richardson; and two great-grandchildren, Stephen and Kayla Richardson.
Deceased are a sister, Velma Irene Mitchell; and two half-brothers, James Clutter and Ronald Clemens.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2007, with Rev. Floyd Marasco officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
