Jean L. Schultz, 75, of Washington, died unexpectedly Friday, April 23, 2004, in the Washington Hospital Emergency Room. She was born in West Middletown on June 7, 1928, a daughter of William and Iva Miller King. She was a home maker and enjoyed gardening and quilting. On June 30, 1946 she married Elmer D. Schultz who survives. Also surviving are; a son, Kenneth E. Schultz of Venetia; a daughter, Gloria J. Martin of Amity; a brother, Dan King of Washington; four sisters, Vi Tennant and Norma Lippincott, both of Florida, Mary Ward and Wilma King, both of Washington; two grandchildren, David Martin and Melissa McKenna; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are two brothers, Gayle and Melvin King, and a sister, Mildred Patrina.
Friends of Jean L. Schultz, of Washington, will be received from 6 to 9 pm Sunday in the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held on Monday, April 26, 2004 at 11:00 am, Pastor Gary Gibson Officiating. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.
