Lucille Dunn Frazee, 95, of Washington, died Sunday, April 18, 2004, at
the Manor Care Nursing Home after a one-month illness. She was born on
May 3, 1908 in Amity PA, a daughter of Sherman and Margaret Reeves
Dunn. Mrs. Frazee was a member of the First Baptist Church. She
taught for 33 years in the Trinity School District.
Mrs. Frazee taught at Reese, Lone Pine, Chestnut Ridge, Vankirk,
Laboratory, Windsor and Trinity schools. She loved flowers, reading and
playing bridge.
On September 11, 1931, she married Carroll W. Frazee, who died on
September 10, 1986. Surviving are 2 daughters, Joan Beddow of Amity, PA
and Linda Martin of Washington, PA; 2 sons, Carroll W. Frazee, Jr., of
Washington, PA and J.D. Frazee of Allentown, PA; a step-son, Wayne D.
Frazee of Greensburg; 8 grandchildren, Linda Kolano, Deanna Warco, Amy
Snyder, April Matthews, Lisa Siler, J.D. Martin, III, Marcie Wilson and
Mark Frazee; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She
was preceded in death by a grandchild, Shawn Martin, a brother, George
S. Dunn and a sister, Madge Swihart.
Arrangements are under the direction of William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd. 395 East Maiden Street. Burial was private at the request of the deceased. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
