Sbarro's supervisor from Claysville
Doris Marie Cunningham, 57, of Claysville, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Donnell House, Washington. She had been ill since October.
She was born May 9, 1948, in Weems, Jefferson County, Ohio, a daughter of Genevieve Brown Saffell of Barnesville, Ohio, and the late Robert Saffell.
Mrs. Cunningham had worked for five years as a supervisor for Sbarro's.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, reading, fishing and solving puzzles.
Her husband, Donald Lee Cunningham, died May 16, 1986.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Gene Cunningham of Washington and Rodney William Cunningham of Prosperity; two daughters, Patricia Sue Cunningham of Graysville and Christal Dawn Cunningham of Claysville; two brothers, Bernard Saffell and Robert Saffell, both of Barnesville; a sister, Gloria Whitacre of Barnesville; 14 grandchildren, Kayla, Ashley and Alicia Cunningham, Amber Gallo, Kimberly and Katie Henry, Brandon and Brady Thomas, Courtney, Sheena, Roberta, Brieana, Christopher and Timothy Cunningham; a great-grandchild, Chelsea Craig; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Terry Saffell; and a granddaughter, Jessica Marie Hoover.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 until 8 p.m., the hour of services, Friday, March 24, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Rick Bruckner officiating.
